Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Alteryx IT Tax Engineer to support data analytics and reporting initiatives within our Tax Technology team. This role is onsite in New York and requires strong expertise in Alteryx, data analytics, and Power BI, with a background in implementing and supporting tax platforms.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with tax, finance, and IT stakeholders to design and optimize workflows, ensure data accuracy, and deliver actionable insights that support compliance and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Alteryx workflows for tax data processing and reporting.

  • Design and deliver Power BI dashboards to provide insights into tax and financial data.

  • Integrate tax data across multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, validation, and completeness.

  • Support and maintain tax technology platforms used for compliance, reporting, and analytics.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Tax, Finance, IT) to automate manual processes and improve efficiency.

  • Ensure adherence to governance, security, and compliance standards in all deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics/engineering, with a strong focus on tax or finance domains.

  • Proven hands-on expertise with Alteryx Designer/Server for workflow automation.

  • Strong proficiency in Power BI for building dashboards and reports.

  • Experience working with tax platforms and understanding of tax reporting processes.

  • Solid background in data management, validation, and governance.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
