Job Title: Technical Product Manager Software Application Development
Location: Onsite Chicago, IL
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and technically skilled Technical Product Manager to lead software application development efforts in an Agile environment. This onsite role in Chicago requires a hands-on leader who can serve as a Scrum Master, manage product delivery using tools like JIRA, and drive initiatives related to cloud migration and cloud-native applications. Experience in the Contact Center domain is highly desirable and will be a key factor in success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for software applications, from concept through delivery and iteration.
- Act as Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
- Collaborate with Developers, QA, UX/UI, and business stakeholders to define and prioritize product features and enhancements.
- Manage product backlogs and workflows using JIRA and other Agile tools.
- Drive and support cloud migration and cloud-native development initiatives.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Monitor product performance and user feedback to inform future development.
- Communicate product vision, roadmap, and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product/project management for software applications.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator.
- Strong proficiency in JIRA and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and cloud migration projects is a big plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Chicago, IL.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
- Experience in the Contact Center domain.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Software applications release process.
- Experience with enterprise software and SaaS products.
