Senior SAP ABAP Developer Brownfield Migration

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developers to support a critical brownfield migration project. This opportunity requires in-depth knowledge of modern ABAP development practices and integration techniques within the SAP ecosystem. The ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in ABAP 7.5, Clean Core concepts, and Fiori/UI5 development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize custom ABAP applications and reports across SAP modules including FI, CO, MM, SD, and PP.
• Utilize the new ABAP 7.5 syntax for efficient and modern development practices.
• Develop and enhance CDS Views, AMDPs, and OData services to support Fiori/UI5 applications and embedded analytics.
• Work with Fiori Elements, RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model), and SAP BTP to enable scalable front-end experiences.
• Design and implement data extraction models for third-party consumption using tools such as SNP Glue, FiveTran, or HVR.
• Apply Clean Core development principles to ensure compatibility and maintainability in a cloud-optimized SAP environment.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to review functional specifications and deliver detailed technical specifications.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Proven hands-on experience with ABAP 7.5, CDS Views, AMDP, OData, Fiori Elements, RAP, and SAP BTP.
• Prior experience working on brownfield migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of SAP functional modules: FI, CO, MM, SD, PP.
• Exposure to data extraction tools like SNP Glue, FiveTran, or HVR.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a client-facing environment.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality code under minimal supervision.

Preferred:

• Prior experience in S/4HANA migration projects.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methods and DevOps tools for SAP.
