AIML Engineer

Overview
They are looking for an experienced AI/ML Engineer for Globetrotters team within the Partnerships domain. This role is focused on integrating AI capabilities into both the Loyalty and emerging Marketing domains. The candidate will be working with engineering teams to uncover AI-driven opportunities and enable smarter, more personalized customer engagement strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Work with engineers and business stakeholders to understand existing applications in the Loyalty domain and expanding Marketing domain.
• Identify, propose, and lead the implementation of AI/ML use cases that personalize and optimize customer engagement (e.g., spend trajectory analysis, purchase prediction, targeted marketing).
• Develop models that track customer spending behavior and provide insights for campaign strategy.
• mentor teams on the adoption of AI/ML in daily workflows.
• full-stack development across applications written in Python and Java.
• Work with AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD practices to deploy and manage ML solutions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for AI/ML across the domain, with the potential to influence broader organizational strategies.

Skills:

• 5 7 years of industry experience, with a strong background in AI/ML implementation.
• Exp in Python and Java (mandatory).
• Hands-on experience working with AWS services related to data and AI (e.g., SageMaker, Lambda, S3, Glue).
• Background in data engineering and/or analytics tools is a plus.

Team Overview:

• It is a team of 5 engineers, ranging from senior developers to entry level candidates.
• The Globetrotters team currently supports 8 10 applications (70% Python, 30% Java).
• The candidate will be the first dedicated AI/ML specialist on the team
• Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to Chicago, IL.
• This role follows a hybrid model (2 days/week onsite).
