Role : PHP Technical Lead
Location: Atlanta, GA - Day 1 Onsite - Locals or near by Only
Exp: 12+ Years

Job Description:

Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (Laravel)

Understanding of MVC design patterns

Implement user interfaces using Angular framework

Very good understanding of front-end technologies, such as Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, and Bootstrap and CSS3

Proficiency in RESTful API services

Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming

Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions

Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds

Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes

Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Experience in handling a team and assessing them in technology

Experience in working with international clients (USA, Europe, etc)

Able to work with 3 different offshore POD teams with overlapping IST hours to make sure the overlapping hours for the smooth handover on daily basis

Experience in Agile methodologies, JIRA, Confluence.

Roles & Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Architecture & Design Oversight: Ensure the solution aligns with architectural standards and best practices for the feature enhancements, Improvements etc.,
• Code Reviews & Quality Assurance: Review code for quality, performance, and adherence to standards.
• Technical Problem Solving: Act as the go-to person for resolving complex technical issues.
• Tool & Technology Selection: Recommend tools, frameworks, and technologies suitable for the project.

Client & Stakeholder Interaction

• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Status Reporting: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress, risks, and issues.
• Expectation Management: Align client expectations with project capabilities and timelines.

Team Coordination

• Bridge Between Onsite and Offshore Teams: Facilitate smooth communication and collaboration between geographically distributed teams.
• Able to manage 3 different POD teams
• Task Allocation & Tracking: Assign tasks to team members and ensure timely delivery.
• Mentoring & Guidance: Support team members in their technical and professional growth.

Project Management Support

• Sprint Planning & Agile Ceremonies: Participate in or lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, etc.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks early and work on mitigation strategies.
• Documentation: Ensure proper documentation of designs, decisions, and processes.

Continuous Improvement

• Process Optimization: Suggest and implement improvements in development and delivery processes.
• Innovation and R&D: Explore new technologies and methods to enhance project outcomes.

Candidate Requirements

Any Graduate with 8+ years of PHP, Angular MS SQL experience.

Good knowledge of front-end interfaces.

Fundamental knowledge of UI/UX

Making design decisions for Angular projects

Previous work experience as Angular developer

Need to have good communication and collaboration skills to interact with frontend and backend developers regularly to ensure components can be integrated together.

Prior experience in Product development

Critical thinking and problem solving
