Type of Employment: CTH (9-10 months contract)

Location: REMOTE during contract (9-10 months), once transition to PERM work arrangement will transition from remote to onsite location i.e. Houston, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with project managers to understand and maintain focus on their analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers.
• Proactively analyze data to answer key questions for stakeholders and investigate / communicate which areas need improvement in efficiency and productivity.
• Provide ad hoc analytical support for business leadership.
• Support and improve existing reporting infrastructure and requirements.
• Troubleshoot reporting database environment and reports.
• Create reporting tools for ensuring a high level of data integrity and purity within source systems and data warehouse.
• Contribute data dictionary, standards, training documentation.
• Manage user accounts, roles and access within online BI platforms.
• Perform related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position, as directed by the [Sr. Manager BI Analytics/Functional SME]

Requirements:

SQL:

• Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SSIS, Microsoft SSAS, Microsoft SSRS
• Experienced in Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
• Intermediate-to-advanced SQL skills
• Understanding and adherence to common data governance procedures

Business Intelligence (BI):

• 4+ years of experience using BI analytical tools (e.g., Power BI)
• Strong data visualization and reporting skills.
• Experienced with cloud-based data warehousing (Snowflake, Azure)
• Knowledge of or experience in multi-dimensional table structure (e.g., star schema)
• Ability to provide and support multiple departmental reporting and analytic needs.
