Role Title: SAP FICO Analyst
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Duration: 3-Month Contract (with potential to hire)
Location: Garner, NC (3 4 days onsite per week)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Analyst to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role will serve as a critical bridge between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring SAP FICO systems align with organizational goals and industry best practices.
The ideal candidate will have deep functional expertise in SAP FICO, hands-on experience with S/4HANA, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to optimize processes, support system improvements, and drive continuous business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications and system updates.
- Serve as the primary point-of-contact for assigned SAP projects, tickets, incidents, and release testing.
- Manage and maintain SAP FICO configurations, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to test, validate, and document business processes and system changes.
- Provide ongoing system support, troubleshooting, and end-user training.
- Ensure data integrity across financial master data (GL, Cost Centers, P&L, etc.).
- Drive process improvement initiatives through gap analysis and implementation of best practices.
- Support ancillary systems and cross-module integration.
- Develop reports, evaluate data, identify trends, and deliver data-informed insights.
- Support reconciliation processes, including P&L and Balance Sheet reviews.
- Manage Purchase Price Variance (PPV) and contribute to cost analysis efforts.
Qualifications
Required:
- 10 12 years of SAP FICO experience.
- Hands-on experience with 1 2 S/4HANA projects.
- Strong understanding of transactional business systems and ERP integrations (ERP, MES, Project Systems, PLM, etc.).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise systems.
- Strong financial and business acumen, with expertise in cost accounting and financial analysis.
- Proven problem-solving, critical thinking, and innovation skills.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Skilled at developing data-informed solutions to complex business challenges.
Preferred:
- Industry experience in Manufacturing, Food Manufacturing, Retail, or Food Industry.
