The objective of Services Modernization is to build Service Layer using Spring boot technologies on a Microservices architecture. The service layer will be used by applications to write to the underlying databases (DB2 and Postgres)
- Responsibilities:
Design and develop JAVA/J2EE/Spring Boot based Microservices as per design requirement.
Translate business requirements into maintainable software components and understand impact (technical and business)
Work along with customer team to develop and maintain the services following best practices
Able to work independently with minimal guidance to design and develop the work packages
Documents and oversees adherence to best practices
Helps defining work methodology and structure
Understands and follows agile methodologies in planning and execution of deliverables
Makes sure that quality standards are defined and met
Can provide workload estimates
Removes roadblocks that are in the way of developers
Effectively participates in peer-reviews of components developed by other team members to ensure quality and compatibility.
