Job title : SAP SD VMS Consultant
Location : Dearborn, MI (Onsite)
Duration : Long Term Contract/ FTE
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP SD VMS Consultant to join our team and support ongoing SAP implementation/enhancement projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) with hands-on experience in Vehicle Management System (VMS), preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP SD VMS solutions.
- Configure and customize SAP SD and VMS modules.
- Work with cross-functional teams (MM, FI, PP, WM) for integrated solutions.
- Handle Order-to-Cash (OTC) process, including pricing, billing, and shipping.
- Implement and support VMS functionalities such as vehicle procurement, stock management, and sales.
- Participate in data migration, cut over planning, and go-live support.
- Provide user training and post-implementation support.
- Create functional specs and collaborate with ABAP developers for enhancements.
Required Skills:
- 12+ years of experience in SAP SD, with at least 4+ years in SAP VMS.
- Strong understanding of SD processes (Sales Order Management, Pricing, Delivery, Billing, Credit Management).
- Experience in vehicle sales processes, vehicle configuration, and status management.
- Hands-on experience with IDocs, interfaces, and third-party integrations.
- Ability to work independently and interact with business stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in S/4HANA environment.
- Automotive industry domain knowledge.
- SAP certification in SD or S/4HANA Sales is a plus.
