The Advanced AI & Solution Team is seeking a entry-level Data Analyst to support the development and execution of our Data Retention capabilities within 1LMX and across the enterprise.
What You Will Be Doing:
As an Entry-Level Data Analyst, you will assist in the integration of Records Management and Data Governance processes through Information Lifecycle Management (ILM). You will work closely with our team to analyze business process flows, identify data inputs and outputs, and collaborate with stakeholders to refine data retention requirements. You will also have the opportunity to learn and apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) skills to support our data retention efforts. Your responsibilities will include the following:
Supporting IT technology implementation of data retention that align with the Lockheed Martin Data Retention strategy
Supporting the integration of Records Management and Data Governance processes through ILM
Identifying, analyzing, and documenting business processes, including workflows, procedures, and policies and collaborate with stakeholders to support the design solutions that meet business requirements
Collaborating with stakeholders and partners (e.g. legal, functional business areas, IT) to understand and support data retention needs and provide implementation support
Learning and applying knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security principles
Participating in workshops, meetings, and other stakeholder engagement activities to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Learning and applying AI and ML skills to support data analytics efforts, including data processing, data visualization, and predictive modeling

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Data, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Exposure to data analysis and data retention
Ability to learn and apply new concepts, including Information Lifecycle Management (ILM), data governance, and AI/ML principles
Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a virtual team environment and collaborate with stakeholders

Desired skills
Experience with data analysis tools, such as Excel, SQL, or data visualization software
Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data record retention management
Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git

Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedule Information

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $57,500 - $101,430. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
