Program Manager III - Data Center Design Coordination

Seattle, WA- Onsite

8-Month Contract Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join a dynamic and innovative global team specializing in data center programmatic design change management. This role plays a critical part in managing, coordinating, and leading projects that ensure seamless functional and technical integration across various data center design initiatives.

Position Overview

The Program Manager will oversee all aspects of assigned projects and programs, from inception to delivery. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in project and program management, outstanding problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams and leadership levels. A wide degree of creativity, technical expertise, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple programmatic design changes concerning data center design portfolios.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholder alignment to evaluate and ensure technical readiness for proposed changes.
  • Establish and monitor project timelines, assign responsibilities to teams, and ensure progress aligns with deadlines and organizational goals.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and updates for leadership regarding project/program status and outcomes.
  • Ensure integration of technical changes in data center design across various engineering disciplines.
  • Collaborate globally within regions such as APAC, EMEA, and others to execute and adapt site designs to specific regional requirements.
  • Oversee and maintain Project/Program Change Management (PCM tools) to track overall program progress and ensure deliverables.
  • Engage in daily stand-up calls and weekly sync meetings to maintain alignment with team initiatives and cross-functional groups.


Requirements

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's (Engineering preferred) degree in a relevant field required; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of project/program management experience intechnical design fields, preferably in data center or infrastructure-related projects.
  • Exceptional understanding of program management methodologies, with demonstrated experience managing large-scale, cross-team initiatives.
  • Strong technical acumen and familiarity with data center operations, machine learning (ML), and technologies such asliquid cooling.
  • Proficiency in managing change requests and technical modifications while ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to regularly interact with business leadership and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with tools and concepts such asTIDUS technology, data center "Basis of Design" practices, andmachine learning workloads.
  • Global project management experience in a smaller, decentralized team environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a workload-intensive environment while maintaining precision and attention to detail.
