Description:

Our client has an immediate need for an End User Computer Analyst, who will be responsible for providing customer service and technical support to end user's computing devices by identifying and resolving software and hardware problems with user's computers, within established/defined guidelines and procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field is a plus
  • Experience providing technical support in a corporate IT environment.
  • Working knowledge of iOS devices, particularly iPads, and general familiarity with computing hardware and software
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to a non-technical audience
  • Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for corporate end user's computing devices such as desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, scanners, and mobile phones
  • Assist with establishing end-user computing hardware and software standards.
  • Prepare knowledge base information for the Service Desk
  • Train the Service Desk on new knowledge base entries as appropriate
  • Perform an inventory of end-user computing devices
  • Demonstrate the ability to execute job responsibilities under pressure while effectively documenting and communicating as necessary
  • Handles problem recognition, research, resolution, and follow-up for routine end-user problems, referring more complex problems to a Specialist
  • Answers, evaluates, and prioritizes incoming requests for assistance for users experiencing problems with software and hardware
  • Ensures issues are tracked and maintains communications by providing updates, status, and completion information to the end user in an appropriate communication method
