Summary
  • VTG is a fast-growing IT services and staffing company serving global clients with a mix of full-time employees, contractors, and subcontractors. Our back-office operations including recruiting, accounting, and HR support are based in India. We are seeking a proactive HR & Operations Manager to serve as the single point of contact for all U.S.-based resources and coordinate seamlessly with offshore teams. This role requires strong HR, recruiting, and basic accounting skills, with hands-on experience in tools like QuickBooks, payroll systems, and benefits administration.
  • This position is designed to grow into a Branch Manager role, taking full ownership of local operations, resource management, and client coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources & People Operations
  • Serve as the primary contact for all U.S.-based employees, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Manage onboarding/offboarding, documentation, and compliance for diverse resource types.
  • Administer benefits programs (health, dental, vision, 401k) and coordinate with brokers.
  • Track attendance, PTO, timesheets, and ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • Maintain HR policies and ensure alignment with U.S. labor laws and global practices.
  • Support performance reviews, goal setting, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain digital employee records and ensure confidentiality and compliance.
Recruiting & Resource Coordination
  • Collaborate with India-based recruiting team to fulfill U.S. staffing needs.
  • Screen and coordinate interviews for technical and operational roles.
  • Manage contractor agreements, subcontractor onboarding, and client-specific compliance.
  • Ensure timely documentation for client onboarding, background checks, and security protocols.
  • Track resource utilization and support workforce planning.
Operations & Administration
  • Coordinate with offshore teams for accounting, invoicing, and payroll reconciliation.
  • Use QuickBooks or similar tools to support basic accounting tasks and reporting.
  • Manage office operations including vendor coordination, asset tracking, and subscriptions.
  • Support leadership with internal reporting, workflow tracking, and client follow-ups.
  • Maintain SOPs for approvals, documentation, and remote operations.
Global Team & Back Office Coordination
  • Act as liaison between U.S. operations and India-based back office teams.
  • Ensure smooth communication and task alignment across time zones.
  • Support RFP documentation, audits, and client-specific operational requirements.
  • Monitor productivity metrics and address operational gaps.
Growth Path: Branch Manager
  • Take ownership of Addison office operations and team development.
  • Lead local hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Represent VTG in client meetings and local networking events.
  • Drive operational excellence and ensure alignment with global delivery goals.
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning and expansion initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
  • 4 8 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or operations in IT/Staffing environments.
  • Familiarity with managing contractors, subcontractors, and full-time employees.
  • Experience with payroll, benefits, and HR compliance in the U.S.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, HRMS tools, and project tracking platforms.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a high sense of ownership.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills across global teams.
