Job Details

Piper Companies is looking for a Network Engineer to join a large healthcare network based in Philadelphia as a full-time employee.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, setup, configure and maintain Routers, Firewalls, VPN Concentrators, and Security appliances to access vital business applications.
  • Configure and maintain complex routing and switching environments.
  • Participate in projects related to our organization's transformation to Azure based hosting.
  • Ensure compliancy and regulatory standards are upheld and participate in new initiatives to improve network and system security.
  • Enhance and support our expanding cloud-based infrastructure(s) (LaaS/PaaS)


Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience as a network engineer with a focus towards routing, switching, LAN, WAN, voice, and wireless.
  • Understanding of Layer 2 and Layer topologies.
  • Fundamental understanding of protocols including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP etc.
  • Experience supporting and assisting in migration/upgrade projects within a medium-to-large Cisco networking environment.
  • Knowledgeable of internetworking concepts such as DNS, Security, IP Routing, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, etc
  • Holding Certifications such as CCNA and CCNP preferred but not required.


Compensation/Benefits:
  • $130,000-$135,000
