; Job Summary:
The Technician III is responsible for performing routine and complex maintenance tasks on infrastructure and clean utility systems in a highly regulated environment. This includes work on plumbing, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, high-purity water systems, clean steam, compressed air, cold storage, and fire systems. The role ensures system efficiency, regulatory compliance, and operational reliability to support the health and welfare of employees and study animals.

; Job Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance and operation of clean utilities and infrastructure systemsTroubleshoot issues and provide technical solutions related to HVAC, cold storage, and utility systemsConduct inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtimeMaintain documentation for all maintenance work in compliance with GXP, FDA/EU, and other regulatory guidelinesInterpret and utilize utility/process system drawings, HVAC P&IDs, and architectural plansCollaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, and vendorsManage and monitor spare parts inventory for assigned systemsEnsure cleanliness and good housekeeping practices in all work areasRespond to emergency maintenance calls to minimize operational disruptionsSupport continuous improvement initiatives and mentor junior team members

Strong technical knowledge in at least two of the following: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire systems, water systems, cold storageHVAC and cold storage system expertiseUnderstanding of national codes and GXP compliance requirementsProficiency with operational logs, SOPs, and maintenance documentationStrong communication and collaboration skillsAgile learning and demonstrated problem-solving abilityAbility to prioritize and execute tasks in a regulated environment

; Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with USDA and EMEA regulations related to master seeds and raw materialsExperience in a regulated clean utility settingAbility to read and interpret engineering documentation and control diagrams
