RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is looking for a local Network Project Manager in Jacksonville, FL.
Summary:
The Project Manager for the Network Engineering program will be responsible for the management of assigned projects to ensure they are delivered on time, with quality, and with minimum customer impact. This will require close collaboration with delivery teams, stakeholders, and organizations to support these critical projects. The PM will be expected to detect deviation from the plan and timelines and initiate corrective action where necessary.
The Project Manager will prepare and support regular technical, status, and budget updates to management, and program stakeholders. The core mission of the PM is successful delivery of the project and the individual in this role is expected to drive the project and hold teams accountable for meeting their commitments.
The Project Manager will schedule, lead, and manage meetings with business, technical, and management staff and vendor to drive their projects to completion. The PM is expected to detect and correct or escalate impacting issues concerns rapidly. Finally, the PM will help drive improvements in project delivery by providing feedback from their projects on issues, roadblocks, lessons learned, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
* PMI/ITIL or similar PM qualifications and certifications
* Minimum of 5 years project management experience - managing medium to high complexity projects
* Experience in a service related or similar appropriate technical environment
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; Initiative to take assignments to their logical conclusion
* Proven ability to manage technology production issues impacting customers; Starter finisher, ability to deal with confrontation and conflict
* Committed to continuous improvement, including sharing and adoption of best practices
* Able to gain and maintain trust of Project Leaders
* Strong presentation and communication capabilities
* Growing organizational awareness - understanding of how project fits into organizational goals
* Able to operationally manage project activities to remove barriers and drive results
* Effective stakeholder management - ability to identify influencers and engage appropriately
* Able to identify and lead team to mitigate complex risks
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
