Senior Project Manager - Technical Services

Senior Project Manager Technical Services (Remote - in the U.S.) $120-160K per year / DOE
Join a mission-driven team supporting New York State s clean energy goals through technical excellence and program innovation. We re seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex energy efficiency projects, mentor staff, and strengthen stakeholder partnerships within the Technical Services team.

What You ll Do

• Lead program and project execution from concept through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment
• Manage multiple workstreams, providing guidance and mentoring to junior staff
• Oversee contractor and consultant performance across technical programs
• Drive energy efficiency and decarbonization initiatives for commercial, industrial, institutional, and multifamily sectors
• Support development of solicitations (PONs, RFPs) and manage consultant agreements
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and process innovation
• Collaborate across teams to strengthen relationships and enhance program delivery

What You Bring

• Bachelor s degree required
• 7+ years of project management or energy efficiency program experience
• Strong understanding of building energy systems and decarbonization strategies
• Proven ability to manage contractors, budgets, and complex deliverables
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills
• Exceptional communication, organization, and leadership abilities
• Experience with Salesforce, SharePoint, NEIS, and Tableau preferred
