Role : SQL Database Developer (Hybrid)
Location: Stamford, CT (Local Candidates Only)
Duration : 6 months
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled SQL Database Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries and a solid understanding of database performance tuning.
Responsibilities:
Write and optimize complex SQL queries involving multiple joins.- Perform SQL tuning using indexes, explain plans, and query optimization techniques.
- Experience in data modeling and designing database structures to support UI applications.
- Understand end-to-end data flow in applications, identify optimization areas, and suggest improvements.
- Analyze and understand complex queries for troubleshooting and performance improvements.
- Support and perform database maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in SQL and database performance tuning.
- Experience with query optimization and indexing strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of database maintenance activities.
- Experience with data modeling is a plus.
- Experience with ETL is a plus.
