Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Troubleshoot electrical components including circuits, motors, and control systems.
Work with low-voltage and high-voltage systems depending on classification.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
Follow all OSHA safety standards and site-specific protocols.
Maintain accurate logs of repairs, work performed, and tools used.
Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and site supervisors on project needs.
Requirements:
Valid state-recognized electrical license (e.g., C-5, C-6, Journeyperson, Limited License, etc.).
Completion of a registered electrical apprenticeship program (if required by license).
2 5+ years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
Proficiency in using hand tools, testing devices (e.g., multimeters), and electrical equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
Comfortable working onsite in a physically active role (lifting, climbing ladders, etc.).
Strong understanding of safety procedures and lockout/tagout protocols.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites as required.
