Position : Oracle Payroll Developer

Location: remote

Duration: Long term (CTH) role

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Payroll Specialist to manage and optimize our payroll processes using Oracle HCM Cloud. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll administration, deep knowledge of Oracle HCM Payroll modules, and a proven ability to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing: Oversee and manage end-to-end payroll processing using Oracle HCM Payroll, including data entry, calculations, and disbursements.
  • System Configuration: Configure and maintain Oracle HCM Payroll settings to ensure accurate payroll runs and compliance with changing regulations.
  • Data Management: Ensure accurate data entry and integration of payroll data with other HCM modules (e.g., HR, Benefits, Time & Attendance).
  • Compliance: Stay updated with federal, state, and local payroll regulations to ensure payroll compliance and accurate tax reporting.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve payroll-related issues, discrepancies, and employee inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Reporting: Generate and analyze payroll reports to provide insights and support decision-making. Prepare reports for audits and compliance reviews.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the payroll function and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, and IT departments to ensure seamless integration and accurate data flow between systems.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPP) are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of [X] years of experience in payroll processing and administration, with a strong focus on Oracle HCM Payroll.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll module; experience with other Oracle HCM modules is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex payroll issues.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in payroll processing and reporting.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with payroll integrations and system enhancements.
  • Knowledge of international payroll practices if applicable.
  • Familiarity with payroll tax laws and regulations in multiple jurisdictions.
