Sr. ServiceNow IT Consultant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. ServiceNow IT Consultant to join our team on a 12-month contract with potential extension. This role is critical in administering, configuring, and developing the ServiceNow platform to optimize enterprise workflows and processes. The consultant will be responsible for maintaining platform health, delivering new functionality, and guiding best practice implementations that drive efficiency and business value.

Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform s overall performance and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported issues efficiently.
Design and deliver solutions that align with business processes.
Develop and implement UI changes, custom scripts, and automation flows.
Enhance and maintain workflows, forms, workspaces, and automation features.
Build and manage integrations with external systems.
Implement new AI features across the platform.
Provide expert guidance on processes including CSDM, CMDB, Asset, ITSM, SPM, and HRSD.
Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Clearly communicate technical findings and updates to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow core platform functionality.
Minimum of 8 years of ServiceNow development and administration experience.
Hands-on experience with ITSM, ITOM, CSDM, CMDB, Asset Management, Service Catalog, SPM, HR Service Delivery, workspaces, and custom portals.
Proficiency with scripting languages such as HTML, XML, SQL, JavaScript, and Ajax.

Special Requirements:
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred.
ServiceNow HR Implementation Certification preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong technical expertise in ServiceNow configuration, customization, and integration.
Advanced scripting and workflow automation skills.
Ability to design and optimize enterprise workflows.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Additional Desired Characteristics:
Experience implementing AI features in ServiceNow.
Ability to provide best-practice consulting around IT operations and service management processes.
Familiarity with enterprise-level security and compliance requirements.

Work Environment:
Fully remote, U.S.-based position.
Standard working hours aligned with Eastern Time Zone.
Minimal travel expected.
