Job Details
Title: Systems Engineer
Location: Nashville, TN. Onsite, possibly a hybrid schedule
Compensation: 98k with a little wiggle room
Employment Type: Perm, FTE/Full-Time
Must Have experience:
- DevOps
- Powershell Scripting
- Enterprise Administration Experience
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manages cloud infrastructure, network, and end user systems.
* Serves as an escalation point for Tier 1 help desk engineers.
* Works closely with Security/ Risk to monitor/secure organizational data.
* Develop and implement procedures to migrate data/operations for M&A related activities.
* Configures, monitors, and addresses alerts involving security incidents, outages and updates.
* Lead the conceptualization/designing/documenting/deploying IT infrastructure and cloud-based solutions for Vaco and partners.
* Understand business requirements and lead the evaluation/design of solutions spanning the technologies of data center, network, security, end-user, applications, CRM, and cloud (IaaS and PaaS).
* Evaluate technologies, tools, products, and solutions to insure alignment with Vaco's budget/business requirements.
* Responsible for identifying explicit/implicit business needs and evaluating solutions to ensure business and technology stakeholders needs are met.
* Responsible for documentation, and other technical project related artifacts.
* Administers Azure cloud, Intune, Checkpoint Harmony SaaS, Meraki or similar core enterprise applications.
* Analyzing user requirements and translating them into system designs.
* Developing functional models and diagrams to demonstrate system interactions.
* Evaluating, designing and implementing systems and tools.
* Installing and configuring hardware and software
* Performing system upgrades and updates.
* Monitoring system performance and capacity planning.
* Managing backup and recovery processes.
* Ensuring system security and implementing security standards
