Overview:
We re looking for a Desktop Support Specialist to support Client Services Operations by handling service desk requests, hardware installations, and customer software support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for IT incidents and service desk tickets.

  • Install and configure hardware, software, peripherals, and network printers.

  • Image and deploy new computers, including software setup and data migration.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate complex problems as needed.

  • Collaborate with application and network teams to resolve customer-level issues.

  • Maintain documentation for processes and procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and safeguard sensitive data.

  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members on issue status and progress.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Lead small projects, delegate tasks, and track project progress.

  • Work with Data Center Operations on user data storage, backups, and account management (AD, email, NCID, Citrix, etc.).

  • Identify and suggest solutions for technical problems or future improvements.

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and communications.

  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.

  • Ability to document technical procedures clearly.

  • Familiarity with security protocols and standards.
