Overview:
We re looking for a Desktop Support Specialist to support Client Services Operations by handling service desk requests, hardware installations, and customer software support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for IT incidents and service desk tickets.
Install and configure hardware, software, peripherals, and network printers.
Image and deploy new computers, including software setup and data migration.
Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
Collaborate with application and network teams to resolve customer-level issues.
Maintain documentation for processes and procedures.
Ensure compliance with IT security policies and safeguard sensitive data.
Communicate effectively with customers and team members on issue status and progress.
Additional Responsibilities:
Lead small projects, delegate tasks, and track project progress.
Work with Data Center Operations on user data storage, backups, and account management (AD, email, NCID, Citrix, etc.).
Identify and suggest solutions for technical problems or future improvements.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and communications.
Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
Ability to document technical procedures clearly.
Familiarity with security protocols and standards.
