Schneider Electric Smart Grid Solutions, LLC seeks an ADMS Power Solutions Lead in Houston, TX.

Job Description: Use product and industry experience to work with a project team on the design, implementation, and testing of ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management System) software. Ensure that the ADMS solution fits customer business goals set throughout the lifecycle of an ADMS project. Work as a trusted advisor to the customer to gather requirements, analyze risks, and guide customer on implementation of ADMS software. Work as part of a project team to implement ADMS software. Lead at a technical level some subtasks of key components of the solution stack such as OMS, Advanced Apps, and DERMS. Work with project team members and directly with customer to diagnose issues with the functionality and performance of ADMS software in various testing phases of the project and then into critical production environments. Work with colleagues in the product center to prioritize features requests from the customer to help ensure on time delivery and with accurate scope. Train colleagues and customers on power system aspects of ADMS software. Maintain internal test systems used to validate changes to against simulated environments of customer systems. Work with the support team on an as needed basis to help resolve trouble tickets reported by customers using Schneider Electric's ADMS software. Eligible for 100% remote work, but must be able to travel to Houston, TX to attend in-office meetings.

Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field and 5 years of progressive, post-Bachelor's experience in ADMS software development for large electric utilities, or related occupation, which must include at least some experience in the following skills: Developing software for SCADA and ADMS products using strong SCADA and ADMS product knowledge; Software development for Core (SCADA Control Room features, Topology, TE, Tracing), Distribution Applications (DMS), Outage Management (OMS), Switching Management, Distributed Energy Resource Management Systems (DERMS); Developing and testing software to meet UI requirements for these functionalities on DMD, Web UI, Field Client (mobile dispatching); and Working with large electric utilities.
