Job Title: Business Data Analyst II

Location: Charlotte, NC  (4 days onsite/week)

Duration: 10 Months (Contract/Contract to hire)

Description:

Business Initiative/Purpose: (Goal, Business Impact, Accomplishments from the work)

  • Axiom software will allow client to meet regulatory deadlines while simultaneously enhancing data lineage, governance and capital management processes.

Bachelor Degree: (Required, Preferred or Not Required)

  • Required.

Role Responsibilities: (what they will be doing)

  • The ideal candidate for this role will be utilizing their SME and business analytics skills to review data sets and RWA reporting methodology, performing quality assurance and ensuring completeness.
  • This will be done as part of the Axiom implementation, and will involve UAT testing.
  • In addition, the candidate should also be able to update procedures, create/ update data dictionaries, and provide value driven insight. .

Must Have Skills/Prior Experiences: (Vendor should not submit any candidate that does not have these skills/prior experience.)

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent education and related training.
  • Five plus years of experience working in a bank or consulting firm.
  • Knowledge and understanding of BASEL 3 and Capital/RWA reporting.
  • Direct experience with the Axiom tool.

 

PlNice to Have Skills/Prior Experiences:(Hiring Manager DOES NOT require these skills/ prior experience. However candidates with any of these will be looked at first.)

  • Familiarity and understanding with the following reports: FFIEC 031, FFIEC 101/102, and FR Y-9C.
  • Business analytics.
  • Some project management experience.
  • Ability to take direction and then work independently to complete tasks while considering broader implications or necessary additional analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills demonstrating the ability to build credibility and trust with all levels of management.
