Sr SAP Logistics Execution Consultant

BrightX is seeking a Sr SAP Logistics Execution Consultant to assist our client with implementing enhanced SAP logistics execution functionality for an existing warehouse already operating in SAP. The consultant must have expertise in the following areas of SAP and warehousing:

• At least 10 years and multiple hands on implementations of SAP LE / HU / WMS integrated with 3PL.
• Working knowledge of warehousing and goods movement flows
• Deep understanding of SAP-IM, SAP-MM, SAP-WM and Batch Management
• Ability to quickly come up to speed on a custom integration template between SAP and external WMS
• Willingness to proactively engage with internal partners to learn and deliver as the principal consultant
• Configuration and support of Handling Unit (HU) Management following existing configuration template
• Configuration and support of SAP-WMS following existing configuration template
• Experience implementing and supporting integrations between third party warehousing systems and SAP
• Working knowledge of purchase orders and inbound deliveries
• Ability to debug ABAP is a plus

The successful consultant will be self-motivated, proactive and willing to learn quickly by asking lots of questions and working through template documentation. The consultant must be able to engage with many internal partners including internal technical teams, internal SAP support teams and third party warehouse IT to deliver an API based integration from 3PL WMS to SAP and then from SAP to client's external WMS.

This position is funded and the successful candidate should be ready to start immediately.

Work setting: 100% remote with potential for one or two trips to client site for testing

Location: US based only

Contract terms: initially six months with potential for extension and additional projects. Corp to corp preferred but can also offer 1099.
