Job Title: Automation Test Engineer II
Location: Plano TX (Onsite)
W2/Fulltime
Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Develop and implement automated testing tools and frameworks to ensure consistent and reliable testing of services and applications.
- Perform a wide range of testing activities including web, API, UI, functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, load, security, performance, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, enhancing the software delivery lifecycle.
- Analyze requirements and create comprehensive test plans that validate software solutions against business needs.
- Play an integral role in the change management and release processes to ensure seamless transitions in production.
- Embrace Agile methodologies and work collaboratively within Agile teams to participate in ceremonies and continuous improvement efforts.
- Utilize tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps for effective work management and tracking.
- Set the standards for maintaining and operating automation frameworks, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Write and execute detailed test scripts for complex integrations, as well as analyze and report on test results.
- Maintain documentation of test activities, including result tracking, defect logging, and monitoring.
- Willingly perform manual testing and defect analysis as necessary.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete all required compliance training and exams annually.
- Adhere to First United Banks Policies and Procedures.
- Undertake additional related duties as assigned to support the team and organizational needs.

Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with relevant experience.
- 3+ years of experience as an automation test engineer.
- Proficient in programming languages for application development such as C#/.NET Core, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Familiar with enterprise application design principles and technologies, particularly in the Financial Services domain.
- Proven experience supporting, developing, and implementing technology solutions for large-scale enterprise initiatives.
- Demonstrated knowledge across digital technologies including Cloud, Data, Security, Application Architectures, APIs, Microservices, and Automation, with a strong foundation in Agile methodologies.
- Skilled in writing SQL queries and a general understanding of relational database concepts.
- Experience with automation frameworks, particularly Selenium WebDriver, and API automation testing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of employees and management.
- Familiar with Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure environments to support test execution.
Technical/Functional Competencies:
- Strong competency in automation engineering disciplines and methodologies.
- Expertise in Agile, Cloud, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
- Proficiency in test management and automation tooling to ensure the highest standards of software quality.
