Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Ab Initio Resource to design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using the Ab Initio platform. They will be responsible for building data pipelines, ensuring data quality, optimizing performance, and collaborating with business and technology teams to deliver enterprise data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Build customer facing technology products for global customers.

Design and develop end to end applications with very high quality.

Partner with multiple Product Owners and/or teams to document business needs/requirements and associated processes.

Abstract away complex data interactions with easy-to-use APIs that will power web applications.

Lead the creation of all design review artifacts during project design phase, facilitate design reviews, capture review feedback and schedule additional detailed design sessions as necessary.

Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and develop a deep understanding of the start-up ecosystem.

Develop a sense of ownership and the zeal to build scalable applications.

Understand the market and participate in product roadmap discussions.

Work with business users to translate requirements into system flows, data flows, data mappings etc., and develop solutions to complex business problems

Required Skills:

Strong experience on Ab Initio tools and technologies (GDE, Co>Op, Express>It, Metadata Hub, DQA, etc.).

Should have hands-on development experience with various Ab Initio components such as Rollup, Scan, join, Partition by key, Partition by Round Robin, Gather, Merge, Interleave, Lookup, etc.

Experience to build systems that involve batch as well as continuous data processing at scale.

Good to have Ab Initio Framework experience on CI(Collect Integrate), Testing Framework.

Strong working knowledge with SQL, shell scripting, and databases like Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, hadoop/hive, Kafka, Postgres, etc.

Love technology and have a knack for picking the right set of tools for the job at hand.

Interested in learning technical data analysis/ modelling using Excel/R/Power BI/SAS/STATA or similar platforms.

Should have strong technical experience in Design (Mapping specifications, HLD, LLD), Development (Coding, Unit testing) using Ab Initio.

Experience in designing and delivering complex, large-volume data warehouse applications.

Understanding of database architecture & design patterns.

Strong concepts of Data Structures & Algorithms and a passion for coding.

Good to have Data processing experience with open-source tools like spark, airflow, etc.

Good to have experience with Cloud Data technologies with any cloud provider viz. Google Cloud Platform, AWS or Azure.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

Exposure on snowflake/big query

Experience working for Telecom/ BFSI domain

Experience with real-time/continuous flow applications.

Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and compliance frameworks

Education:

Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
