Job Overview
  • We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Mapping & Integrity Analyst to lead the identification, documentation, and integrity assessment of data fields within the LARS application.
  • This role requires strong SQL, Excel, and data mining expertise to ensure consistent, reliable data usage across multiple deliverables, including extracts, correspondence, certificates, and API data feeds.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills to engage stakeholders and document findings to ensure data accuracy and best practices.
  • The primary goal is to define and map all fields used within the LARS application comprehensively.
  • This includes understanding how each field is utilized across various deliverables such as extracts, correspondence, certificates, and API data feeds.
  • Completion of this effort will be a detailed document that accurately maps all fields, ensuring that data is consistent and reliable.
  • Under general supervision, this role will also be responsible for maintaining the Tennessee Department of Health's Licensure and Regulation System (LARS) and external help desk system (Zen desk).
  • This role requires a proactive approach to resolving system issues, processing change requests efficiently, and implementing solutions as directed.
  • Tickets will range from data pulls, reporting needs, and general system administration.

Work Schedule & Expectations:
  • Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM CST

Key Responsibilities:
  • Field Identification & Documentation: Identify and document all existing fields in the LARS application and analyze their usage across various deliverables.
  • Data Mapping: Develop a comprehensive field map, detailing data types, relationships, dependencies, and usage guidelines.
  • Data Integrity Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments to ensure data consistency, reliability, and adherence to best practices.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage HRB members, OOIV staff, Pharmacy staff, EMS staff, and other end-users to understand field usage and resolve any existing data issues.
  • Documentation Creation: Develop detailed technical documentation, including mapping reports, data integrity guidelines, and maintenance instructions.
  • Project Management: Coordinate project activities, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables align with the overall project objectives
