Job Details
Client is seeking a SEO Marketing Manager to support global content marketing. This individual will play a key role in growing Organic Growth, leading the strategy in their respective area in close partnership with the Global SEO Lead. The scope includes leading the international content roadmap for article and video content, content promotion and distribution, optimizing existing content, partnering on demand generation campaigns, and performance reporting.
The scope of work supported will fall into the following key areas:
- Content creation (articles and videos)
- Content optimization
- Content promotion and distribution
- Performance reporting
Minimum qualifications
- 4 years of experience creating and executing SEO strategy, with at least 1 year of in-house enterprise SEO experience.
- Ability to create a compelling content marketing roadmap meeting program growth targets and GTM business objectives. This spans from identifying strategic customer pain points to conducting keyword research, delivering content briefs to copy writers, and seeing-through to the delivery of the final product.
- Strong understanding of the role and value of content for business metrics and users. Ability to demonstrate the ROI of content, including influenced attribution; media mixed modeling and incrementality testing experience is highly preferred.
- Content marketing experience beyond text-based and video content, including interactive content, visual assets, audio content, webinars, and user-generated content (UGC).
- Well-versed in SEO content production best practices, roadmap creation, topic selection, brand messaging, and voice/tone guidelines.
- Oversee and optimize content production workflows, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content that aligns with SEO best practices and brand guidelines while coordinating with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency in content operations.
- High attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all tasks while maintaining consistent quality in work output.
- Strong international SEO skills, including ability to develop coordinated global and local content and hreflang tags.
- Proficient in content management system (CMS) infrastructure as it pertains to content marketing, with 3 years of direct experience. Ability to understand the connection between user-experience and CMS, and apply this to deliver positive content marketing outcomes.
- Proficient in content promotion and distribution.
- Intermediate technical SEO skills with the ability to identify opportunities and interface directly with software engineers.
- Intermediate experience with HTML, CSS, and other web programming acumens.
- Strong experience creating performance reporting and measuring success, with emphasis on content marketing reporting.
- Ability to work extensively in Google Drive apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Excel, Looker, Tableau, Google Analytics and other reporting software.
- Strong cross-functional collaborator with the ability to simplify complex topics for partners.
- Experience managing stakeholders, with the ability to handle multiple work streams and requests from a variety of stakeholders, balancing each of them to deliver on the true north objectives of the program and business.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively execute strategies and share with stakeholders.
- Strong experience using a variety of SEO tools, including Google Search Console, Google Keyword Planner, SEMRush, ScreamingFrog, YouTube Studio, vidIQ etc.
