System Configuration Manager

Location: APG, MD & Remote (hybrid)

Summary
T2S Solutions currently has an opening for a System Configuration Manager & Scrum master to join our team in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience implementing and administering Configuration Management and Agile processes, policies, and procedures at a system level in a DevSecOPs environment. We are looking for a motivated self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and can implement a tailored process using industry best practices to meet the unique needs of the program. Ability to think critically, challenge the status quo, a desire to seek out new challenges and continuously learn are needed to thrive in this position.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate releases across multiple organizations
• Work with the Systems Architect to create stories from high level requirements
• Assign stories to developers
• Create & Maintain release management tools (i.e Kan Ban boards, burn down chart, software version branch and trunk graphics, etc.)
• Make and impalement process improvement changes as applicable
• Maintain version control over software, hardware, firmware, architecture, etc.
• Oversee the build and release of system and subsystem components
• Manage a Configuration Control Board to maintain quality of the baseline
• Create release documentation and update with each subsequent release
• Develop and manage an end to end process the supports the entire development life cycle from requirements discovery, to story creation, to sprint development, to test, to release, to deployment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred and 3-5+ years of relevant systems experience required
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one required
• Experience with system level configuration management
• Ability to design and implement a custom tailored process from scratch
• Experience working in an Agile environment with DoD customers preferred
• Experience in CM/Agile tools such as Git, Jira, Rally, Bitbucket, ClearCase, ClearQuest, etc.
• Expert level understanding of version control, preferably using Git as well as various types of a system development life cycle (i.e. Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
• Professional certifications in Agile and/ or Software Configuration Management preferred
