Job Overview:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Performance Engineer to lead performance testing initiatives across a range of Client enterprise applications-web, mobile, and APIs-hosted on-premises and in the cloud. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who brings technical excellence, deep knowledge of performance engineering, and the ability to manage globally distributed teams.
Candidates needs to have:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as Performance Center/LoadRunner, JMeter, or similar.
  • 3+ years of experience leading 10+ concurrent projects/products.
  • 3+ years of experience managing onsite and offshore teams of 10+ resources.
  • Proficient in all aspects of performance testing and performance engineering.
  • Intermediate proficiency in cloud computing concepts and capabilities.
  • Basic proficiency in error profiling and APM tools, such as Dynatrace.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools: GitLab, Jenkins, Tekton, and Python scripting.
  • Familiarity with AWS services: CodePipeline, CodeBuild, S3, CloudWatch, QuickSight, EC2, Redshift.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Deliver performance testing across multiple on-premises and cloud-hosted applications.
  • Lead and optimize globally distributed teams to execute performance testing strategies.
  • Perform workload modeling, test planning, automation, execution, and analysis.
  • Conduct performance assessments and identify bottlenecks using monitoring tools.
  • Set up and execute load tests; review and optimize performance test scripts.
  • Profile applications using Dynatrace/log analytics to identify and resolve performance issues.
  • Implement cloud-based performance testing and system thinking to interpret end-to-end results.
Project & Team Leadership:
  • Manage performance testing backlog, task estimation, prioritization, and resource distribution.
  • Train and guide teams on performance testing concepts, tools, and practices.
  • Communicate testing goals, progress, and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Drive innovation through shift-left testing, test data management, and service virtualization.
System & Integration Testing:
  • Create and maintain master test plans, test cases, and schedules aligned with project requirements.
  • Perform and manage different types of testing including: functionality, UI, regression, security, and UAT.
  • Develop and execute test scripts in integration and system environments.
  • Track and document defects, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate resolutions.
  • Support failover/recovery, stress, and supportability testing for critical applications.
