We re seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work both remotely and on-site. If you have a strong background in data architecture, ETL processes, and big data technologies, we d love to hear from you.
What You ll Do:
As a Senior Data Engineer, you ll be responsible for designing, developing, and managing scalable data pipelines and architectures. You ll work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to turn complex data into actionable insights. Your expertise will help us leverage data to drive business decisions and improve performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
Build and optimize data models to support analytics and reporting.
Work with large datasets using big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all platforms.
Automate data workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Troubleshoot data issues and provide technical support for data-related challenges.
What We re Looking For:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in data engineering with strong expertise in data pipelines, ETL processes, and database management.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Java for data manipulation and processing.
Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, or similar.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data services (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.).
Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.).
Ability to work in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of machine learning pipelines and data science workflows.
Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
