Job Details

Position: Desktop Support Engineer

Location: Pennsylvania, USA
Work Type: 5 Days Onsite (No Remote/Hybrid)
Openings: 5

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide break-fix support and maintenance for desktops and laptops.
  • Set up and configure devices for new joiners, including initial IT guidance.
  • Handle end-user requests, VIP support, IMACDs, and IT order fulfilments.
  • Offer smart hands support for device refresh, project setups, and hardware movements.
  • Manage stock and update asset records; support device dispatch via courier system.
  • Provide hands-and-eyes support for servers, networking equipment, meeting room tech, printers, etc.
  • Support desktop/mobile devices, video systems, docking stations, etc.
  • Remote desktop support and standard software troubleshooting.
  • Work with ServiceNow, Outlook/O365, MS Office Suite, Skype, OneDrive, SCCM, Intune, Azure, and related tools.

Technical Requirements Must-Have Skills:

  • Associate s/Bachelor s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1 3 years of desktop or technical support experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows/macOS.
  • Familiarity with networking (IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN).
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Good understanding of basic networking and hardware.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, MTA, MCSA, etc.
  • Experience with IT ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk).
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices.
