SAIC is seeking Network Administrators to join the Machine-assisted Analytic Rapid-repository System (MARS) Advanced Development Operations (DevOps) and Sustainment Support (ADOS) program and provide on-site technical and administrative support to facilitate operations of critical MARS infrastructure and services. This effort focuses on providing a comprehensive set of System/ Software Engineering and IT Services to maintain, sustain, enhance, and improve/ modernize MARS.
The ideal candidate will be located in the National Capital Region.

The Network Administrator responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, performance, and security of the network infrastructure.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot network-related software and hardware systems, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and encryption devices.
- Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols and work with IP-based networking environments.
- Evaluate, develop, and sustain telecommunications infrastructure and ensure conformance with organizational IT policies and objectives.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Advanced knowledge of routing protocols, security standards, and media access control systems.
- Demonstrated experience in network segmentation, traffic management, and secure network architecture design.
- In-depth knowledge of network tools, monitoring platforms, and documentation best practices.
- Experience with modern networking technologies, including SD-WAN, MPLS, VPN, and cloud networking services.
- Proven experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers, switches, and other network components.
- Experience performing root-cause analysis.
- Bachelors and 16+ years of experience or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
Desired Qualifications:
- Cisco certification.
- IAT certification.
- Knowledge of IT service management best practices and frameworks such as ITIL.
- Working knowledge of hardware configuration management tools and logistics tracking systems.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages to streamline network operations.
- Familiarity with NIST, STIG, RMF, and Federal Information Systems Controls.
