Data Architect (MD/VA/DC)

• Straight contract role for 6 months .. Hybrid, expectation for the resource to be on-site (Reston office) once or twice per month. DMV only
• Needs Data Architecture skills using Erwin (data modeling tool) w/ implementations in RDMS, Aurora Postgres (exposing data from here to redshift so they won't have to create new pipelines) & AWS Redshift...
• Will be supporting Enterprise-wide initiative to migrate data from Cloudera to AWS Redshift. Should have domain expertise in the health insurance space. GAAP analysis and building new models in AWS Redshift.
• Will collaborate with Data stewards/SMEs to understand how the data is currently stored in Cloudera and creating/servicing models in Erwin to show how to move the data from Cloudera to Redshift.
• High preference for folks who have knowledge of Cloudera, but more emphasis will be on AWS side.
• Interview process: Initial tech round with other Data Architects, followed by a final in-person round.

Education Details: Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Experience: 8 years' Experience in Architecture Domain leading architecture initiatives

In Lieu of Education:

In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
