About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer for a 3-month contract to support warehouse automation and facility design initiatives. This role blends aerospace-grade rigor with the agility of e-commerce fulfillment, focusing on tooling storage, layout planning, and cross-functional collaboration.

You'll work closely with engineering, operations, and logistics teams to forecast usage, design layouts, and coordinate inventory movement. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone passionate about innovation, process optimization, and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop rate and capacity models for tooling and inventory storage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing Engineering, Tool Engineering, and Operations.
  • Create 2D facility layouts using AutoCAD.
  • Lead design reviews and document technical decisions.
  • Validate design and contractual requirements.
  • Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement events.
  • Coordinate inventory movement with operations and transport teams.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in 2D CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD).
  • Strong project management and scheduling skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
  • Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% based on business needs.
