Description
We are looking for a skilled Senior Reporting Analyst to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering an opportunity to play a key role in managing and optimizing data pipelines and business intelligence systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for delivering high-quality data solutions that drive decision-making. This position requires to be in the office 5 days a week.
Responsibilities:
Lead data warehouse initiatives, acting as a subject matter expert with a focus on architecture and best practices.
Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines to integrate data from multiple sources.
Analyze and map data flows, ensuring accurate source-to-target transformations and resolving complex data issues.
Deliver clean, structured, and high-performance data to support the reporting needs of the IT Business Process & Analytics team.
Optimize BI tools and processes, including performance tuning for enhanced reporting capabilities.
Develop and manage ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data efficiently.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Provide guidance on Power BI usage and best practices to ensure effective data visualization and reporting.
Requirements
Proven experience in developing and managing data pipelines, integrating data from multiple sources.
Proficiency in T-SQL, SQL Server, and working with data cubes.
Hands-on expertise with Power BI for at least three years, with the ability to confidently showcase and defend your work.
Strong knowledge of ETL processes and best practices.
Familiarity with business intelligence concepts and tools.
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex data issues effectively.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable data solutions.
