Job Details

The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Senior Advisor, which is a Band 4 Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc.

Responsibilities-
  • Serve as senior team resource for application and services architecture design and development.
  • Deliver robust, reliable, scalable and secure software solutions that meet operational specifications required through development of system logic.
  • Review and guide code development from other team members through code reviews.
  • Monitor all triage, debug, surveillance, performance, and scalability for non-development environments.
  • Participate in software delivery.
  • Research new technologies and build proof of concept applications.
  • Write unit and regression test suites.
  • Interface with and steer vendor partner consultants to ensure delivery of appropriate IT solutions.
  • Hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications-

Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in computers or engineering plus five years of experience designing, developing, and implementing information or operations systems in support of core enterprise functions. Must have experience with: Java; Spring boot; RESTful Micro services; Unix Scripting; JavaScript; HTML; XML; JSON; J2EE Spring.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
