Job Title: Product Manager Healthcare

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Product Manager with a background in healthcare to lead the development and execution of products that improve patient outcomes, provider workflows, or payer efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare systems, regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HL7, FHIR), and the complexities of healthcare delivery, combined with a solid product management skill set.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the product lifecycle from ideation through development, launch, and iteration.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, clinical, marketing, and sales teams to define and deliver healthcare solutions.
- Gather and prioritize product requirements based on market research, customer feedback, clinical outcomes, and regulatory needs.
- Develop clear product roadmaps and communicate them effectively to stakeholders.
- Ensure products meet compliance standards including HIPAA, FDA (if applicable), and interoperability standards such as HL7/FHIR.
- Analyze data to inform product decisions and measure success post-launch.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in healthcare for internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive go-to-market strategy, positioning, and messaging in collaboration with Marketing.
Required Qualifications:
- 12+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in the healthcare industry (payer, provider, digital health, or health tech startup).
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Business, Public Health, Health Informatics, or related field is a plus.
- Deep understanding of healthcare workflows, EHR/EMR systems, and healthcare data interoperability.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on clinical or patient-facing products.
- Familiarity with value-based care, population health, or care coordination.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance, security standards, and medical device/software regulations.
- Technical background or familiarity with APIs, cloud-based platforms, or mobile apps.
