We are looking for Mechanical Technician for our client in Peace River, AB
Job Title: Mechanical Technician

Job Description:
  • The Mechanical Technician is responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of equipment as per operational demands.
  • The role involves maintaining assigned equipment in compliance with the maintenance program and reliability centered maintenance strategy.
  • The technician supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset utilization, reduce downtime, and improve maintenance efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled and on-call mechanical maintenance services in both field and shop areas.
  • Assemble and commission LNG engines, hydraulic skids, generators, drive heads, and stroking unit packages.
  • Maintain and operate a field service truck.
  • Supervise apprentices and others as required.
  • Comply with all company quality, and Health and Safety work procedures.
  • Maintain and develop positive professional relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Comply with PCP Product Line standards.
  • Maintain assigned equipment according to the pertinent maintenance program and reliability centered maintenance strategy through adherence to standard work processes.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement culture, initiatives, and improvement plans to improve asset utilization and cost of service delivery (CoSD).
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to improve the efficiency and productivity of Maintenance Technicians.
  • Participate in failure investigations as assigned.
  • Assist in implementation of CoSD projects, such as planned repair and reuse of parts.
  • Work independently with customers.
Experience:
  • LNG engine maintenance, assembly, and troubleshooting experience.
  • LNG generator maintenance, assembly, and troubleshooting experience.
  • Wellhead drive maintenance, assembly, and troubleshooting experience.
  • Hydraulic stroking unit maintenance, assembly, and troubleshooting experience.
  • Millwright, Automotive, or Heavy Duty Mechanic Journeyman Certificate required.
