Job Description:
- The Mechanical Technician is responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of equipment as per operational demands.
- The role involves maintaining assigned equipment in compliance with the maintenance program and reliability centered maintenance strategy.
- The technician supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset utilization, reduce downtime, and improve maintenance efficiency and productivity.
- Perform scheduled and on-call mechanical maintenance services in both field and shop areas.
- Assemble and commission LNG engines, hydraulic skids, generators, drive heads, and stroking unit packages.
- Maintain and operate a field service truck.
- Supervise apprentices and others as required.
- Comply with all company quality, and Health and Safety work procedures.
- Maintain and develop positive professional relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Comply with PCP Product Line standards.
- Maintain assigned equipment according to the pertinent maintenance program and reliability centered maintenance strategy through adherence to standard work processes.
- Participate in the continuous improvement culture, initiatives, and improvement plans to improve asset utilization and cost of service delivery (CoSD).
- Support continuous improvement efforts to improve the efficiency and productivity of Maintenance Technicians.
- Participate in failure investigations as assigned.
- Assist in implementation of CoSD projects, such as planned repair and reuse of parts.
- Work independently with customers.
- LNG engine maintenance, assembly, and troubleshooting experience.
- LNG generator maintenance, assembly, and troubleshooting experience.
- Wellhead drive maintenance, assembly, and troubleshooting experience.
- Hydraulic stroking unit maintenance, assembly, and troubleshooting experience.
- Millwright, Automotive, or Heavy Duty Mechanic Journeyman Certificate required.
