Onsite role in Horicon, WI
40 hours/week. 1st shift but must be able to temporarily flex to 3rd to help cover in the event of a team members absence. Occasionally up to 10 hours of OT. Normally none
Open to recent grads w. proper experience
Education: Engineering discipline with Welding Emphasis OR 5+ years of Relevant welding experience
Top Must Haves:
Experience programming and troubleshooting robotic welding applications in a manufacturing environment. (ie: Fanuc systems)
Knowledge of manufacturing weld processes, quality, tooling, tool design, total preventative maintenance and facilities.
Ability to effectively interact and communicate with wage employees, supervisors, managers and other engineers
MIG welding experience
Job Duties:
Investigate, gather and analyze data for identifying root cause for welding issues in the departments supported.
Establish routings, pay standards, layouts, weld tooling, weldments costs, OMS, and control plans for revisions to current operations and/or running changes for current product.
Identify and implement cost reduction, quality, safety and ergonomic improvement ideas for welding operations
Work with PDM, SAP, Wplanner/MPM, OMS, and Creo to perform engineering functions.
Design cell layouts to improve material flow and material presentation
Participate in annual factory capacity planning and productivity activities for departments.
Assist in development of baseline data for new wage performance pay plans
No driving required
