Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Windows Engineer with strong expertise in Windows and Cloud environments. In this role, you will lead solution design, implementation, and support for Windows-based systems across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments. You will also provide mentorship to junior staff while ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and aligned with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and support Windows system environments (cloud and on-prem).

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex Windows system issues.

  • Lead and collaborate with project teams alongside project management.

  • Provision, monitor, and upgrade virtual resources/software in hybrid cloud environments.

  • Apply security and OS patches as needed.

  • Ensure backup, monitoring, and system performance.

  • Follow ITIL processes for incident and problem management.

  • Provide documentation, customer support, and off-hours/rotation-based support.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6 8+ years of experience in Windows Systems Administration.

  • Strong background in enterprise-class Windows/SQL and cloud-based platforms.

  • Proficiency in automation/scripting (PowerShell preferred).

  • In-depth knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, SSL, etc.).

  • Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, OVM, and public clouds (Azure, AWS).

  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

  • Certifications in Azure, AWS, or Windows.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).

  • Familiarity with Agile processes.

  • Exposure to Docker and containerized environments
