Job Details

Job Title: Information Security Engineer
Location: Westlake, TX or Charlotte, NC
Job Type: Full-Time/Contract
Duration: 24 Months
Pay: $55-$60 per hour


Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Network Implementation Coordinator to support the planning and execution of hardware and software deployments. This role requires strong coordination skills, foundational knowledge of network security concepts, and the flexibility to manage both daytime planning tasks and nighttime implementation activities.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Coordinate hardware and software implementation projects from start to finish.


  • Create project schedules, templates, and ensure accurate documentation throughout the lifecycle.


  • Facilitate and lead implementation calls with network engineers to ensure successful cutovers.


  • Communicate effectively with technical teams regarding network security products such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems (IDS).


  • Manage and adjust work schedule to accommodate daytime coordination and nighttime execution.


  • Track deliverables, drive active follow-ups, and escalate issues when necessary.


  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.



Required Qualifications:



  • Experience coordinating network hardware and software implementations.


  • Working knowledge of network security concepts (e.g., firewalls, IDS); hands-on experience not required.


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with engineers.


  • Highly detail-oriented with a proactive approach to follow-up and task completion.


  • Ability to manage a flexible work schedule to meet project demands (day/night coverage as needed).


  • Comfortable working in high-pressure environments.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Prior experience in a network operations, IT coordination, or infrastructure project support role.


  • Familiarity with project tracking or collaboration tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA, MS Teams).
