Description:
Business Initiative/Purpose: (Goal, Business Impact, Accomplishments from the work)
- This proposal is to migrate the QRM Balance Sheet Management application from on prem to the Cloud. This would be an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) environment with AWS as the anticipated cloud vendor. This migration would be to support the need for business continuity and application performance required to meet the demands of our client's size. This would be an estimated 14-month project starting in 2025 and ending in 2026. The cloud environment would meet latest availability and recovery time standards and support the need for reducing the current run time for monthly ALM and CCAR reporting.

Role Responsibilities: (what they will be doing)
- Plans and coordinates closely with LOB/function managers and subject matter experts. Ensures that business cases are developed for budgeting, planning, and tracking revenue and/or expense.
- Works closely with, and provides direction to technology leads to support program needs.
- Analyzes and collectively manages variances to the program plan and overall portfolio and makes recommendation and/or creates action plan to mitigate negative variances or to resolve issues.
- Prepares dashboard reporting to identify and communicate the health of the project portfolio for use by key executives.
- Plans and coordinates closely with LOB/function managers and subject matter experts.
- Ensures that plans and resource assignments are created and work progress is report via status reports.
- Works closely with, and provides direction to workstream leads to support program needs.
- Follows Client s risk management plan for the project and ensures adherence to company and business unit requirements.
- Proactively identifies risks and develops solutions and/or processes and ensures necessary risk mitigation steps are built into the processes.
- Readily recognizes solution and determines at what point issues require escalation to management.
- Leads teams of internal and/or external resources on a project basis.
- Complies with the Project Management Lifecycle (PMLC), Technology Delivery Lifecycle (TDLC) and other corporate standards.
- Prepares documentation/presentations to support overall workstream efforts and internal reporting routines, as needed.
Must Have Skills/Prior Experiences: (Vendor should not submit any candidate that does not have these skills/prior experience.)
- Strong planning (tasks and resource assignments), problem solving and analytical skills, with diligence and superior attention to detail sufficient to withstand scrutiny from leadership as well as program sponsor and program manager.
PlNice to Have Skills/Prior Experiences: (Hiring Manager DOES NOT require these skills/ prior experience. However, candidates with any of these will be looked at first.)
- PMP certification
- Experience interacting with Risk and Internal Auditors.
- Background in Finance technology.
- AWS/Cloud Migration.
