Job Title: Business Analyst - Automotive Digital Transformation

Location: Portland, Oregon (Remote)

Duration: 12 Months

 

Job Overview:

  • As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of car dealership operations and ecosystems. You ll analyze existing dealership software ecosystems, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and propose transformation strategies that lead to tangible improvements in revenue generation, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of leading dealership software platforms (aka dealership management systems - DMS)
  • Benchmark features, workflows, integrations, user expereince
  • Collaborate with clients to understand business goals, pain points, and operational bottlenecks
  • Propose transformation ideas with clear business cases quantifying revenue uplift, cost savings, or efficiency gains
  • Develop future-state process maps, solution concepts, and ROI models
  • Translate business needs into user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Work closely with product managers and engineers to shape product roadmaps
  • Support client presentations, product demos, and feedback sessions
  • Define KPIs and success metrics for transformation initiatives
  • Monitor post-implementation impact and continuously refine strategies

 

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Business Analyst in SaaS, automotive retail, or enterprise software
  • Strong familiarity with dealership software platforms
  • Proven track record of identifying and delivering transformation initiatives with measurable business outcomes
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar
  • Bachelor s degree in business, Engineering, or related field (MBA is a plus)
