Salesforce Developer Mobile Automation

Location: Plano, TX or Reston, VA (Hybrid)
Rate: $65/hr
Visa: H1 Transfer

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer with 10+ years of experience in Salesforce development, administration, and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Apex, SOQL, Lightning, and Salesforce Administration, with proven experience in mobile application testing and automation frameworks. This role requires a mix of Salesforce development, automation test engineering, and Agile delivery experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Salesforce mobile applications (Salesforce1, Field Service, or custom apps).

  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test strategies and ensure high-quality releases.

  • Set up and manage mobile device testing environments (real devices, emulators, and simulators).

  • Execute both automated and manual tests for Salesforce mobile and responsive web applications.

  • Identify, document, and track bugs and performance issues to resolution.

  • Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous delivery.

  • Stay up to date with mobile testing trends, tools, and Salesforce best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of Salesforce development and administration experience.

  • Strong expertise in Salesforce Lightning, Security, Apex, SOQL queries, and configuration.

  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

  • At least one Salesforce certification (Developer, Administrator, or Cloud Consultant preferred).

  • Hands-on experience in mobile automation testing using tools like Provar, AccelQ, or Proval.

  • Solid knowledge of Salesforce mobile apps (Salesforce1, Field Service, or custom).

  • Strong background in responsive design and cross-browser mobile testing.

  • Ability to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

Good to Have

  • Experience with device farm solutions (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, Firebase Test Lab).

  • Familiarity with Salesforce Classic and Lightning migration testing.

  • Prior experience with performance testing on mobile devices.

  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
