Job Details

The software trainer will be responsible for the delivery of software training programs, creating instructional materials, and providing support to help Operations Support Associates and Customer Service Representatives in WSS LIT division become proficient in a new ERP system. They collaborate with subject matter experts to determine course design, delivery formats, and course manuals.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS (IDENTIFY UP TO 6 CORE RESPONSIBILITIES WITH ASSOCIATED JOB TASKS)

  • Create training materials and resources to support user learning
  • Update existing business process documentation to reflect changes for new ERP System
  • Conduct training sessions for individuals and groups, both in-person and online, on new ERP system
  • Provide ongoing support to users, answer questions, and offer follow-up training or re courses
  • Work with cross-functional teams to assess progress and effectiveness of the training approach and recommend changes for an improved training experience
  • Access and evaluate learner progress
  • Provide ad-hoc training and support as needed

POSITION REQUIREMENTS (INFORMATION PROVIDED BELOW WILL BE USED IN THE JOB POSTING PROCESS)

1. FORMAL EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor s degree in HR, Training, or Education preferred with 3 years of applicable work experience

2. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with ERP system, such as SAP or Oracle, preferred, not required
  • Experience with SAP Enable Now / WalkMe experience a plus
  • Knowledge and/or experience related to water industry preferred, not required
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to provide effective feedback and assess user progress
  • Familiarity with different training delivery methods, such as webinars, one-on-one coaching, and classroom instruction
  • Able to execute tasks with high levels of autonomy in an unstructured environment
  • Agile mindset requiring flexibility and open-mindedness and willingness to adjust to changing project direction
  • Strong understanding of general business concepts/processes
  • Solid User of standard Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

Salary/ Rate: $30-35/hour (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week.
