Your Role at a Glance
As a Senior Microsoft Engineer, you will:
Design & Strategy (50%)
- Architect and implement robust M365 solutions and integrations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business and technical requirements
- Drive system design efforts for both enhancements and new functionality
- Ensure technical designs align with business goals, scalability, and future upgrades
Operations & Support (45%)
- Serve as SME for M365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, and Azure services
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across front-end and back-end infrastructure
- Lead efforts to migrate on-premises workloads to Azure
- Develop and maintain documentation, user guides, scorecards, and reports
Project Delivery & Leadership (5%)
- Provide input on project scope and timelines
- Mentor junior engineers and foster knowledge-sharing
- Ensure adherence to IT standards, policies, and best practices
- Partner with vendors, business units, and IT stakeholders on high-impact initiatives
What You Bring
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 8+ years in IT with deep experience in Microsoft 365 administration
- Expertise in SCCM, Intune, Azure, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and SharePoint
- Strong grasp of system architecture and infrastructure design
- Proven ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and drive solutions
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
- Active Directory and domain migration experience
- Azure certification or Microsoft 365 certifications (MD-100, MS-700, MS-203)
- Experience supporting healthcare or regulated environments
