Description

Works to assist the current Tech Ops Asset Management Analyst. Uses the current inventory and management system. Updates and administers asset databases, tracking the life cycle of all assets. Receives and manages inventory, ensuring the security of assets while in inventory. Maintains and manages supplier records, including warranties. Receives new equipment and monitors procurement and deployment activities. Monitors and reconciles changes in inventory and performs spot checks to ensure process and system quality. Duties and Responsibilities: Monitor, track, and surplus IT inventory for the Information Technology Cost Center Maintain and distribute on-hand IT hardware supplies Conduct scheduled audits of hardware across the Southern region Participate in cross-functional projects of varying scope and duration Attend OIT Staff Meetings and Operations Team Meetings Enforce departmental procedures and policies Analyze data and generate reports to support operational decisions Manage ServiceNow ticketing system for Operations Relocate equipment as needed (must be able to lift up to 50 lbs) Perform additional duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: The ideal candidate should possess the following: A clear communicator with strong verbal and written skills A proactive problem solver and independent thinker Highly organized and detail-oriented Customer-focused and team-oriented Self-motivated with a positive, outgoing attitude Skilled in time management and resourcefulness Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Teams, OneNote, Outlook, and Windows 11

Dimensions: Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Experience: 1 to 3 years of business experience in asset management, procurement, finance, or related experience. Complexity: Works independently or on a team 25% Travel with personal vehicle to various District locations

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
